Greetings Peacemakers,
Welcome back to our Community of Gardens Blog. We trust that you enjoyed a fulfilling and enjoyable summer, much like SOLA did this year. Before we proceed, We would like to express my gratitude to everyone who contributed to the establishment of peaceful, enjoyable, and plant-filled gardens at Peace Camp this summer. Your dedication, service, and resources are truly appreciated. Thank you for participating in our new blog series. We are committed to continuing the development of our garden communities and we invite you to join us on this journey together. So, let's get started.
On the fourth Wednesday of every month, we distribute produce bags to those in need in the neighborhood. To kickstart our community gardens, we began by distributing starter plants. Providing various herbs, succulents, and vegetable plants encourages aspiring gardeners to take small steps towards creating their own gardens. Let's take a look at the September Food Bag Giveaway to witness the magic in action.
In the Fall, we are prompted to give thanks to our harvest of the year and reflect on our past. We are reminded to give thanks. I want you to think about how far you came but also, what more can you grow. In what ways can we grow as people? The question for this post is what crops do you want grow? What tools will you use to grow them? Thank you all so much. See you all on the next post.
