Peace Camps

Peace Camp provides a safe, inclusive, and nurturing space for Los Angeles youth to learn peacemaking techniques, take social action, and have fun. During four weeks in the summer, the Peace Camp Staff help campers identify conflicts that they encounter every day, and then guide them through peacemaking techniques like peaceful communication and conflict resolution. Campers learn how to calm themselves through meditation and how to set goals for self-improvement. Campers also study and interact with global conflicts and brainstorm different ways to make a positive impact.
